TROY TOWNSHIP SENIOR PROGRAM & BRIDGE GROUP

Join the Troy Township Seniors for fun, friendship, food, games, events, outings, and more!

Where: Troy Township Community Center – 25448 W. Seil Rd., Shorewood

When: Every Wednesday and Friday – 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (closed holidays)

Lunch: Lunch is provided by Meals on Wheels via CNNSSA for a suggested donation of $8.00 for Wednesday meal and $5.00 for Friday meal. Reservations for a meal are required at least one week in advance by calling 815-744-1968. 

The Troy Township Seniors is a great opportunity for our senior community to enjoy socialization, have a nutritious meal, play games, but mostly to have some fun. All participants will also enjoy a monthly birthday celebration including cupcakes, various theme parties, and the occasional outing. The group also enjoys a monthly lunch outing (at their own expense) with their “Troy Township Seniors” friends. For more information call 815-744-1968.

Please note: Troy Township provides a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment for seniors to participate in activities and enjoy fellowship. Our programs are for senior citizens who are age 60+ and who are independent and able to care for their own personal needs. Troy Township is not a day care facility and does not have medical staff on site. Seniors are welcome to bring an attendant or caregiver with them in order to enjoy our services and programs.

The bridge group meets every Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 

History

Since 1986 the Troy Township Senior Center has been serving residents 60 years of age. Our Senior Directors and Community Services Directors have made a lasting impact on the senior residents of Troy Township. Thank you to all of them who have served or are currently serving in this role:
