The Truth in Taxation Law requires Troy Township to provide a public hearing and public notice of any proposed increase of an aggregate levy of more than 5% over the prior year’s extension. 35 ILCS 200/18-75 requires Troy Township to provide this same information on our website for a period of not less than 30 consecutive days and must be posted on or near the top of the website’s home page.
