Senior Open House 1:30pm-3:00pm
Troy Township will be celebrating National Senior Center Month at the Troy Township Community Center on September 27, 2023 at 25448 W. Seil Rd in Shorewood. Please join us for a Senior Open House and enjoy cake and refreshments from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The Troy Township Seniors, age 60 , gather every Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (closed holidays) in the Community Center for friendship and fun. This is a great opportunity for our senior community to enjoy socialization, have a nutritious meal, play games and mostly to have some fun. All participants will also enjoy a monthly birthday celebration including cupcakes, various theme parties and the occasional outing. The group also enjoys a monthly lunch outing (at their own expense) with their “Troy Township Seniors” friends.
Our Senior Program Participants also enjoy lunch courtesy of the Meals on Wheels via CNNSSA, for a suggested donation of $4.00. Reservations for a meal are required at least one week in advance by calling 815-744-1968.
