TROY TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY CENTER SENIOR PROGRAM

Since 1986 the Troy Township Senior Center has been serving residents 60 years of age and older with FOOD, FUN & FRIENDSHIP!

Every Wednesday and Friday, seniors gather in the center from 10:00am to 3:00pm for card games, bingo, health screenings, health information, legal assistance information, income tax assistance, musical entertainment and a once a month outing to a local restaurant for breakfast or lunch.

The center is also a Nutrition Site for the Senior Services of Will County who provides a nutritious meal for the seniors and also provides some of the informative programs at the center. Each senior pay for the meal on a donation basis. Reservations for lunch should be made at least two days before the meeting date. Call the township office at 815-744-1968 to make a reservation.

The center also works in conjunction with other local townships and part districts to have day trips available for any senior resident to take part in during the year. Information about these trips is published in local newspapers and flyers or by calling the township office at 815-744-1968.
