Senior Citizen Homestead Exemption:
This exemption reduces your assessed value by $4,000.
You can apply for this exemption on your primary residence
in the year in which you turn 65. You will need a copy
of your deed and proof of age. You can apply for this exemption
at our office.
Senior Citizen Assessment Freeze:
If you already qualify for Senior Homestead Exemption
and your total household income is less
than $55,000, you may qualify for Senior Homestead Assessment
Freeze. This exemption freezes your assessment, but
it does not freeze taxes. This exemption must
be applied for on a yearly basis. Forms are sent out by

seniors who are already receiving the exemption and to
new seniors who have qualified for the Senior Homestead
